Versie Guidroz

Port Barre – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Versie Mae Guidroz on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Port Barre. Fr. Clint Trahan will officiate the Mass.  Rite of Committal will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Port Barre.

Versie entered into eternal rest at the age of 71, on Friday, March 19, 2021. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren.

Versie is survived by children, Christopher Guidroz and Tonya Guidroz Guidry (Chad) all of Port Barre, brothers, Lawrence Stelly and Patrick Stelly both of Arnaudville, sisters, Betty Stelly (Johnny) and Eunice Bergeron (Roy) all of Arnaudville, four grandchildren, Madison Guidroz, Bailey Guidroz, Hayden Guidroz and Demi Guidry.

Versie is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Guidroz, parents, Voohries Stelly and Clara Trahan, sisters, Clara Gail Marks, Patricia Ann Stelly, and one infant sister, brothers, Donald Stelly, Lee Stelly, and one infant brother.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 22, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home of Port Barre. The rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Guidroz, Chad Guidry, James Guidroz, Dwayne Marks, Roy Bergeron, and Craig Stelly.

Honorary pallbearers will be Lawrence Stelly, Patrick Stelly and Hayden Guidroz.
