WASHINGTON- Lyle Atwood Soileau, a lifetime resident of Washington, LA, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, June 16, 2022. Lyle passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loved ones. Lyle was born to Raynold Soileau and Sara Buller Soileau on June 6, 1960. He worked in the oil and gas industry for 30 years, most recently for Flow Services out of Lafayette, LA.

Lyle was an avid outdoorsman, spending his spare time during childhood and as an adult deer hunting, bass fishing, and enjoyed fox hunting with dogs. The fondest memories of Lyle are the time spent at the hunting and fishing camps, listening to Lyle’s stories of old times, and bringing family and friends bream and bass fishing in Toledo Bend. Lyle enjoyed Cajun French music, and loved his little dog, Jack.

Lyle is survived by his wife of 29 years, Lynn, and stepson, Joseph Savant (Brooke), his parents, Raynold and Sara Buller Soileau, his brother, Dirk Soileau (Melissa), his sisters, Donna Pitre (Pat), and Pam Soileau, two granddaughters, Laura Mae Grace Savant and Emme Joleigh Savant, two nephews, three nieces, two great-nephews and three great-nieces.

Lyle is preceded by his paternal grandparents, Atwood Soileau and Lor Dupre Soileau, maternal grandparents, George Buller and Rita Mire Buller.

Lyle will be greatly missed be his family and friends, but they take comfort in knowing he is with our Lord and reunited with his loved ones.
