Kassi Ardoin

Opelousas- A Celebration of Life will be held for Kassi Leigh Ardoin on Friday, October 30, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Port Barre. Pastor Tony Lanclos will conduct the service. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until time of service in the funeral home.

Kassi, age 38, a resident of Port Barre, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Opelousas General Health System.

Kassi was a graduate of Port Barre High School. She was a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, and mother of four children whom she loved very much. Kassi enjoyed working at Bourque’s Supermarket for the last two years. She cherished spending time with her family and friends the most. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who loved her.

She is survived by her companion, Josh Murr; sons, Gavin Glasscock and girlfriend, Lisa Davis, and Treylin Jones; daughters, Jazmin Glasscock and Tori Jones; father, Shannon P. Ardoin and wife, Trena; mother, Jeanne Aymond and companion, Shawn Dupuis; maternal grandmother, Betty Aymond; sister, Jana Ardoin and companion, Shane Hebert; step-sister, Robyn Andrus and husband, Rocky; step-brother, Derek Richard and wife, Kiki; godmother, Molly Ardoin; godfather, Kent Aymond; 2 nephews, Drake and Chandler; and a host of aunts and uncles.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Emile “Pedo” Aymond; and paternal grandparents, Clifford and Joy Ardoin.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to help defer funeral cost.
