ARNAUDVILLE- A Private Graveside Service will be held for Harlie Marie LaComb affectionately known as “Ree”. Fr. Ken Domingue will conduct the service. Harlie, age 12, a resident of Arnaudville, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2020.
Harlie enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding horses, making arts and crafts, riding four wheelers, experimenting with science projects and spending time with her family and friends. Harlie hardly ever met a stranger and carried a contagious smile, bringing happiness wherever she went. She will be greatly missed by all her friends, family and all who knew and loved her.
Harlie is survived by her parents, Michael and Shanon LaComb; sister, Gabbie LaComb; paternal grandparents, Sandras “Lee” LaComb, Barbara Simoneaux and husband, Poppa Jim; maternal grandparents, Billie Duhon Myers and husband, Robert; her nanny, Christina Tate and husband, Jeff; uncles, Daniel LaComb and wife, Denise, William LaComb and wife, Jennifer; aunt, Amy Veillon and husband, Neal; parain, Jeremy Simoneaux and wife, Rebecca; and a host of cousins.
Harlie is proceeded in death by her maternal grandfather, Randy Myers; paternal great-grandparents, Dan and Gloria Carrier and maternal great-grandparents, Francis and Verna Myers.
Pallbearers will be Jim Simoneaux, Jeremy Simoneaux, Daniel Lacomb, William Lacomb, Justin Tate and Jordan LaComb. Honorary pallbearers will be Hunter, Mason and Briggs LaComb and Blaine “Mr. Blaine” Stelly.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to defer the cost of funeral expenses.
