OPELOUSAS- A Funeral Service will be held for Effie Adams at a later date.

Mrs. Adams, age 70, a resident of Opelousas, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at her residence. She will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.

She is survived by her son, Matthew J. Adams of Opelousas; brother, Albert D. Perira of New Orleans; sister, Cheryl Ann Mancuso of Metairie; and grandchildren, Landyn Joseph Adams and Ethan John Adams of Opelousas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Mattie Gordon.
