Cindy, age 64, a resident of Port Barre, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was a faithful member of Hope Presbyterian Church.  She was known for being supporting and eriching her church family through prayer and encouragement. All who knew her, spoke of her joyful, generous spirit.

Cindy had a zest for life, leaving an impression on all who knew her. She overcame many adversities, living her life in a way that encouraged and inspired others.  She was a thoughtful planner and always remembered birthdays, regularly hosting celebrations for friends and family in her home.

Her life was, punctuated by absolutes, with flashes of joy and passion. Despite the struggles she endured, she always turned to her faith and lived so that she could share the hope and joy she found in Christ, her savior.

Cindy faithfully read her Bible and shared Bible verses to encourage others. She was a constant creative spirit, painting, journaling, writing notes, and calling others to offer laughter, encouragement and support.

Cindy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. To know her, was to love her deeply and purely. Her voicemail messages were legendary, and those fortunate enough to have them will treasure them and know she has the last robust laugh.

She is survived by her daughters, Stacey Dawn Courville and husband, Ronny, and Tracey Moran and husband, Conrad; brother, Tommy Billiodeaux and wife Debbie; grandchildren, Cameron Moran, Wesley Moran, Preston Moran, Devon Courville and Dylan Courville; and great-grandchildren, Paisley Courville and Bennett Courville.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Amanda Morain; parents, Harold and Lee Ann Billiodeaux; sisters, Pam Billiodeaux Gary and Becky Billiodeaux.

Ushers will be her grandsons, Cameron Moran, Wesley Moran, Preston Moran, Devon Courville and Dylan Courville.

The family would like to offer a sincere thanks to Dr. Sarwat Gad, Dr. Stacey Mayeaux, Dr. Constance Cole and staff for the excellent care given to her over the past few years and to LHC Hospice for their compassion and exceptional care.
