William Marks

Port Barre-A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for, Mr. William "Billy" Ray Marks, at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 21, 2017, in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Port Barre, LA. Reverend Daniel Picard will conduct the Mass. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Billy, age 39, a native of Port Barre, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at the Basile Care Center. He worked as a truck driver for many years and enjoyed traveling while doing so. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his sons, Adam Marks and fiancé, Cassidy Prudhomme, and Ashton Marks; his daughter Annie Marks; his father, Daniel Marks; his brother, John David Marks; his sister, Michelle Young; his half-sister, Chandra Marks and one grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Eloise Young Marks.

The family requests visitation be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home in Port Barre. A Rosary Service will be prayed by Reverend Daniel Picard at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening. The funeral home will reopen on Thursday morning at 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
