Opelousas- A Mass of Christian Burial Will be held for William Allen Fadaol, Sr. on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the St. Landry Catholic Church in Opelousas. Bishop Michael Jarrell will celebrate the Mass. The burial will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery.
William Allen Fadaol, Sr., a dedicated employee of Gulf Oil/ / Chevron for 42 years. He passed away at his home on May 25, 2024. He was born on June 6, 1936, in Opelousas. William was known for his warm and caring nature, was a dearly beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grand.
William dedicated a portion of his life to serving in the National Guard, showcasing his dedication to both his country and community. His legacy extends beyond his professional endeavors as he was also recognized for being a very loving and caring person who cherished his family above all else.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Ann Fadaol of Lafayette; his son Al Fadaol of Lafayette; his daughter Chelly Fadaol Zehnder (Paul) of Lafayette; grandchildren Katherine Zehnder, Camille Zehnder Brown (Christian), and William Paul Zehnder; as well as great-grandchild Ella Grace Brown, and his two sisters, Rose Fadaol McCarthy and Eleanor Fadaol LuBecke, both of Opelousas.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Joseph and Marie Fadaol.
