Warren James Soileau

PORT BARRE- Warren James Soileau, a cherished pillar of the community, was born on September 17, 1950, in Opelousas, Louisiana. After 75 years of a life that touched countless others, Warren peacefully departed from this world on February 9, 2026, in the comfort of his home.

Warren's life was a testament to hard work and dedication. He established Soileau's Heating and Air Conditioning in 1972, a venture that became not only his career but his lifelong passion. For over five decades, he served the community with unwavering commitment, tirelessly ensuring that those around him were comfortable in their homes. His work ethic and integrity earned him the respect and admiration of many, leaving a legacy that will be felt far beyond his years.

While his professional accomplishments were impressive, they were merely a part of what made Warren who he was. He had a zest for life that was infectious and a spirit that brought warmth to all he encountered. Warren found joy in the simple pleasures—he loved the thrill of hunting, spending time outdoors, and reveling in the rhythmic beats of music while dancing at Pat's on the levee in Henderson. These moments, filled with laughter and joy, were where his heart truly thrived.

Warren is survived by his son, Daniel Kurtis Soileau and fiancé Brandi Vidrine of Port Barre; daughter, Megan Bergeron and husband Roddy of Lafayette; brother, Terry Soileau of Port Barre; sister, Jeanette Gauthreaux of Port Barre; 3 grandchildren, Brantlei Soileau and Emma and Isabelle Bergeron.

Warren is preceded in death by his parents, Curtis Soileau and Marcelite Higginbotham Soileau.
