Vaughn DuprebrbrMelville- Funeral Services for Vaughn Dupre, age 62, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 26, 2009, in the First United Pentecostal Church in Melville. Interment will follow in the Bayou Rouge Pentecostal Cemetery.br Vaughn was a native of the Morrow area and was a long-time resident of Melville. He died on Wednesday, December 23, 2009, at his residence. br He was a great collector of various movies. He would also enjoy recording movies for later. He would also carry a scanner for him to stay in touch with community news. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend and will be deeply missed.br Survivors include his mother, Mary Lee Schexnayder Dupre of Melville; two brothers: Wilfred Earl Dupre, Sr. and wife, Clara Ann of Hammond; and Carl Severin Dupre, Sr. and wife, Glenda Ann of Melville; two sisters: Deborah Ann Darbonne of Prairie Ronde; and Vanessa Gayle Sanders and husband, Donald of Melville; and a host of nieces and nephews.br He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Earl Dupre; one brother, Lars Paul Dupre; and one sister, Juanoma Naquin.br Visiting hours will be observed in the First United Pentecostal Church Hall in Melville on Saturday, December 26, 2009, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. br Words of comfort to the family may be expressed at www.sibillefuneralhomes.com.br Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas.brbr br brbr
