Opelousas- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Terri Lynn Trahan at 1:30pm on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, in the St. Landry Catholic Church. Fr. Clint Trahan will officiate the Mass. Burial will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery in Opelousas.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28, 2026, in the Sibille Funeral Home from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm with a Rosary to be prayed at 6:00 pm. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 8:00 am until time of Mass.

Terri, age 59, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2026. She was surrounded by her family at Ochsner Lafayette General Hospital. 

Terri loved all sports especially LSU, she was very athletic in high school. She graduated from ABW. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and children she always put them first she enjoyed cooking for her family and having campfires. She never missed her son’s football and baseball games no matter the weather. She also enjoyed attending her grandson’s baseball games and her granddaughter’s rodeos.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Terry Lee Trahan of Opelousas, son, Nick Miller (Andrea) of Port Barre, daughters, Katie Ray (Kevin) of Opelousas, and Sadie LeJeune (Hunter) of Krotz Springs, brothers, Rusty St. Amand (Michelle) of Prairie Ronde, Mike St. Amand (Kathy) of Ohio, sisters, Nicole Dupre (Buddy) of Eunice, and Diane Dupre (Donnie) of Opelousas, grandchildren, Camille and Callie Miller, Eli LeJeune, Abel LeJeune, Olivia LeJeune and Conrad Ray.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lionel and Barbara St. Amand, sons, James Wesley St. Amand, and Corey James Miller, maternal grandparents, Evanus and Essie Fontenot, paternal grandparents, James and Marie St. Amand, in-laws, Paul and Anna Lee Trahan.
