Telisse Johnson

Opelousas- Telisse Ann Johnson, loving mother and grandmother passed away on July 6, 2022 with her family at her side.

Ann was born in Church Point LA to Abraham and Telisse Smith. She was the youngest of twelve children and the last survivor. Ann was married to John Johnson for fifty-seven years. She was survived by her two daughters, Jamie Johnson, Jodi Johnson Ormond and Jodi’s husband, Christopher Ormond. Jodi and Chris have two sons, Noah and Alex Ormond. Ann’s children and grandchildren were the loves of her life. She enjoyed and appreciated every moment she spent with them. She was also survived by her three grand dogs, Lola, Outlaw and Rowdy. She also loved them immensely.

Ann had a very loving family as well as devoted friends and neighbors. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone who knew her. She will forever be remembered as a selfless, loving wife and mother.

Services will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., 1432 West Landry St, Opelousas, LA 70570. Burial to follow at Bellevue Memorial Park, 4833 Hwy 1825, Opelousas, LA 70570.
