Sarah Cummings

Opelousas -Memorial services for Mrs. Sarah Scott Cummings will be held on Monday, January 4, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas, LA.
Mrs. Cummings was a native of Des Arc, Arkansas and a long time resident of Opelousas. She died on Thursday, December 24, 2015, at Avoyelles Manor Nursing Home in Dupont, LA, at the age of 69. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include one son, Cade Paul Lafleur II of Opelousas; and one daughter, Simone Lafleur Hebert and husband, Simon of Lawtell; one sister, Eva Scott of Tennessee; 3 grandchildren, Jessica, Samantha, and Rebecca Hebert; and 3 great-grandchildren, Hailee, Jaida, and Jaykob.
She was preceded in death by husband, Youell Cummings; her mother, Janet Tate; and one brother, William "Bill" Scott.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, January 4, 2016, following the Memorial Services from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas.
