Rozine David

Opelousas- A private memorial service will be held for, Mrs. Rozine David, at a later date.

Mrs. David, age 72, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2018 at her residence. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting. Mrs. David was a compassionate caregiver for 20 plus years throughout the local nursing homes. She was a family-oriented woman who had a heart of gold. Mrs. David was a loving grandmother and mother who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her sons, Robert Paul Benoit (Sheri) and Joey Mark Dupre; daughter, Francis Anne Cantrell (Wayne); brother, Jules Bellard III (Judy); sister, Juanita Bellard; grandchildren, Brianna Paige Benoit, Hawkin Seth Benoit, Angel Lee Benoit, Jerry Lee Hebert, Brandie Lee Hebert, Michael Fontenot, Whitney Dupre and Dalton Dupre; and great-grandchildren, Brantley Michael Sonnier, Marlie Rose Sonnier, Arianna Hebert and Ava Hebert.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph C. David; son, Jimmy Joseph Dupre; daughter, Donna Marie Benoit; and parents, Jules Bellard, Jr. and Mable Bellard.
