OPELOUSAS- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for, Roberta M. Bernard, on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 12:00 noon in the St. Landry Catholic Church in Opelousas, LA . Rite of Committal will follow with the inurnment ceremony at Bellevue Memorial Park. The mass will be officiated by Father James Brady.

Roberta M. Bernard, age 88, born in Church Point, LA passed from this life on Sunday, September 17th at Senior Village Nursing Home. Roberta retired from AT&T. She was a dedicated member of St. Landry Catholic Church.

Surviving family members include her daughter, Linda Scarborough of Opelousas, grandson, Dax Dossmann-Adams and his husband, Quincy Adams of Atlanta, GA.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Percy Miller, and husband, Numa J. Bernard.
