Opelousas Funeral services for Robert L. Tatman, Sr., will be held at 10:30AM Tuesday July 25, 2006, with interment following in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Rev. Benny Reppond will officiate services.

Robert L. Tatman was a native and resident of Opelousas. Mr. Tatman died at Doctors Hospital of Opelousas on July 21, 2006, at 9:50PM.

Mr. Tatman was a veteran of the United States Army. After his service in the military Mr. Tatman worked in the oilfied as a service manager.

Mr. Tatmans survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rose Marie Briggs Tatman of Opelousas; three sons, Robert L. Tatman, Jr. of Lafayette, Ronnie Tatman and his wife Jeannie Mayeaux Tatman of Lafayette, and Shannon Scott Tatman of New York, NY.; one daughter, Robbie Lynn T. Perkins and husband George of Yorktown, VA.; three grandchildren, Kellie Danielle, Ross, and Ryan Perkins.

Mr. Tatman was preceded in death by his parents Dudley Octavia and Pearl Prather Tatman.
