Opelousas Funeral services for Mrs. Rita Eula Guillory, age 77, will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 18, 2008, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Benny Reppond will conduct the service.

Mrs. Guillory was a native and long time resident of Mallet. She passed away at 5:51 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16, 2008, at her residence. She worked a great deal of her life as an Electronics assembler for Ampex and other keyboard manufacturers. She was a homemaker, a devoted wife and a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her husband, Mr. Julius Guillory of Church Point; two daughters: Karla Guillory of Mallet, LA; and Bernedette Garfio of Kenbridge, Virginia; five brothers: Mike Guillory of LA; Jake Guillory, Issac Guillory, and Lanis Guillory, all of California; and Herman Guillory of Pennsylvania; three sisters: Anna Guillory, Carol Jean Rubio, and Mandi Guillory, all of California; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents: Medrick Guillory and Sylvia Freddie Guillory.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Friday, July 18, 2008, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
