Philip Roussel

Opelousas - Funeral service's for Philip Arthur Roussel, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 8, 2018, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Philip, age 72, a resident of Opelousas passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018, at J. Michael Morrow Nursing Home. Philip served in the National Guard.

He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Mrs. Myrtle Guidry Roussel of Opelousas, brother-in-law, Garland Matte of Church Point, sisters, Eldora "Doe" Johnson (Wayne) of Opelousas, Ruth Mouton of Rico, Colorado, sister-in-law, Bernadine Hargroder. He was preceded in death by parents, John and Lucy Roussel Sr. and brother, John Berchman Hargroder.

The family requests visitation be held from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 8, 2018. A rosary will be prayed at 9:45 am.

In lieu of flowers donation can be made to Mrs. Myrtle Roussel.
