Opelousas - Peggy Prince Wyble, born in Shreveport and a resident of Opelousas, died on April 16, 2023.
Peggy graduated from Louisiana State University and was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. She later obtained her paralegal certificate from LSU and worked as a paralegal at firms in Opelousas and Lafayette.
Peggy is survived by daughter, Kathryn Landry, her husband, Curtis, and their daughter, Alayna;and daughter, Kristi Hunter, her husband, Richard, and their children, Ella, Joseph and Ava.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Fred A. Wyble, her parents, Edward Rudolph Prince, Sr. and Ella Kathryn Prince, and her brother, Edward Rudolph Prince, Jr.
Visitation will be held at Sibille Funeral Home in Opelousas on Sunday, April 23, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023 at the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany in Opelousas from 8:30 a.m. until mass at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Springville Cemetery in Coushatta, Louisiana.
