Paul Lanclos

Opelousas - A Funeral Service will be held for, Paul Wayne Lanclos, at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Opelousas. Deacon Dwayne Joubert will conduct the service. Burial will follow at St. Leo the Great Cemetery in Leonville, LA.

Mr. Lanclos, age 58, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Paul enjoyed his many travels as a truck driver for over 19 years. He enjoyed watching wrestling, having a cold adult beverage and playing his music the loudest. Paul loved his family very much and enjoyed spending quality time with them whenever he could. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Cynthia "Cindy" Aymond Lanclos; his son, Scott Wayne Lanclos and fiancé Liz; his daughters, Heather Lanclos Perry and husband, Jody, Shelley Lanclos Fontenot and husband, Jared, Barbara Jean "B.J." Lanclos Hebert and husband, Troy, Debra "Dawnell" Lanclos Morris; his sisters Jeanette Lanclos Green and husband, Blann, Joni Lanclos Guillory and husband, John; his grandchildren, Dylan Poppa, Chelsea Hebert, Avery Billeaudeau, Matthew, Hunter and Amelia Perry, Connor and Abbie Fontenot, Bentley and Pierce Snyder.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Barbara Hebert Lanclos; his brothers, David and Patrick Lanclos.

The family requests visitation be held from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at Sibille Funeral Home in Opelousas. A rosary will be prayed by Deacon Dwayne Joubert at 5:00 p.m. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday until time of service.
