PH, age 70, entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 21, 2022, at his home.

Paul (PH) Dugas was born May 28, 1951 to Paul and Daisy Dugas in St. Martinville. He was a gentle, loving, caring man. PH could accomplish anything he set his mind to do. When he did a job, he would give it his all.

During his teenage years he was a part of the Armentor Boxing Team in St. Martinville which began his lifelong passion for boxing. At an early age of 16 he began working in the oilfield in order to help support his large family he was a part of. He then followed his father’s footsteps and worked for the railroad as a bridge tender, which he enjoyed very much. He was his own mechanic. He enjoyed & was talented fixing his car engines.

He was a very giving man who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed one. His love for his two boys and grandson was so deep words could not describe the depth of the love he had in his heart. They gave him a reason to live. We were so blessed to have spent so many cherished years with PH. He will be deeply missed by friends and family. Love always until we meet again.

PH is survived by sons, Lance Belaire of Houma, LA., and Paul Carter of Jackson, LA., sisters, Cynthia Dale LeBlanc and her husband, Charles of Butte La Rose, Debra Gabehart of Youngsville, and Tressy Dressel and her husband, Ronnie of Broussard, one grandchild, Austin Covington of Houma.

PH is preceded in death by his parents, Paul H. Dugas Sr. and Mary Daisy Dugas, brother, Todd Dugas, sister, Cheria Guidry and his brother-in-law, Keith Guidry.
