Oakley Rayne Lee

May 29, 2026 — May 29, 2026

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Oakley Rayne Lee, who was born and departed on May 29, 2026, in Opelousas. Though their time with us was brief, Oakley’s memory will be cherished by all who held them dear.

Oakley was the beloved infant of Kadence Boudreaux and Gary Lee, both of Krotz Springs, who was lovingly welcomed into this world and now carry their spirit in their hearts. The presence also touched there dear grandparents, Candis and Deon Boudreaux of Port Barre, and Angel and Joseph Melancon of Krotz Springs, whose love and support surrounded the family during this difficult time.

Was cherished by a loving circle of aunts and uncles including Madison Declouette of Opelousas and Marek Pitre of Port Barre, Ethan and Isabelle Boudreaux of Port Barre, Quinn Melancon and Brandi Lee of Krotz Springs, Brennon Lee of Hessmer, and Emily Taylor of Krotz Springs. Their collective love and care exemplified the strong bonds Oakley was blessed with from the start.

Oakley’s nanny, Meagan Ashby of Melville, who provided nurturing care and gentle comfort, remains a significant part of their cherished story. The great-grandparents Cindy and Dale Barron of Port Barre, Linda and Raymond Stelly of Opelousas, and Adrienne Stermer of Port Barre also hold Oakley deeply in their hearts.

Though Oakley’s life was fleeting, the impact made through the love that inspired will be everlasting. In this time of heartache, the family finds solace in the embrace of one another, united by their profound love for this precious child. Oakley Rayne Lee will forever be remembered and tenderly missed by those whose lives they touched.
