Newton Nelams

Opelousas- A private memorial for, Mr. Newton Nelams, will be held at a late date.

Mr. Newton, age 54, a resident of Washington, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018, at his residence.

He is survived by his brothers, David Nelams and wife, Christine of Youngsville, and Archie Higginbotham of Church Point; sisters, Donna Haugen and husband, Robert of Church Point, Catherine McGue and husband, Benjiman of Grand Prairie, and Amanda Bourque and husband, Kevin of Church Point.

He is preceded in death by his parents, David Douglas Nelams and Barbara Guidroz Nelams.
