Mrs. Frankie Fontenot

Washington - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mrs. Frankie Guillory Fontenot on Saturday, December 1, 2018, at 12:00 noon in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Washington, LA; with a rosary service to be prayed at 11:30 a.m. in the church. Reverend Matthew Higginbotham will celebrate the Mass. Rite of Committal will follow at the Cedar Hill Cemetery Mausoleum in Washington, LA. Visitation will be held at Sibille Funeral Home in Opelousas on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Ms. Fontenot, a resident of Port Barre, LA, age 89, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at her residence.

She is survived by her son, Dwight Fontenot and wife, Elaine of Port Barre, LA; two grandchildren, Ryan Fontenot and wife, Emilee, of Houston, TX; Max Fontenot of Ventress, LA and one great-grandchild, Christopher Fontenot.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cline Fontenot and her parents, Theodore and Arnel Guillory.
