Opelousas--A memorial service will be held for Michael Napoli, II at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2026 in the Sibille Funeral Home in Opelousas. Pastor Jacob LeBlanc of the Community Church in New Iberia will officiate the service.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel.

Michael, II, a beloved figure known for his kindness and compassion, passed away on January 15, 2026, at the age of 44. He was born on December 14, 1981, in Mamou, Louisiana.

Michael dedicated many years of his life to a fulfilling career in construction, a field where he displayed not only skill but also a commitment to the welfare of those around him. His work was marked by integrity and a deep-seated respect for both his craft and his colleagues.

A proud veteran, Michael served honorably in the United States Marines, completing a tour in Iraq that shaped his character and instilled in him values of service and duty that he carried throughout his life. His military service was one of his proudest accomplishments, reflecting his unwavering commitment to his country.

Michael is survived by his mother, Monique LaHaye Fitch and her husband, Jerry, of New Iberia; his daughter, Emma Grace Napoli, of New Iberia; his son, Carter Rose Napoli, of Midland, Texas; and his brothers, Heath Fontenot (Tina) of Denver, Colorado, and Ryran Napoli of New Iberia. He is also remembered by his aunts and uncles, including Peggy Chamberlain (Jerry), Cynthia Napoli Tassin, Evelyn Napoli, Robin and Frank Bowman, Dean and Wendy Napoli, Mitchell Napoli, Jr. (Daphne), Johanna Soileau, John LaHaye, Noami Patrick, and his nephew, Timothy Napoli, along with numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Napoli, Sr., and his beloved grandparents, Yvonne LaHaye, Mitchell Napoli, Sr., and Elsie Napoli.

Michael's legacy is one of love, integrity, and respect for all. His gentle spirit touched the lives of his family, friends, and even strangers, leaving an enduring impact that will not be forgotten. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
