Michael Grissom

Michael Thomas Grissom passed away on August 7, 2021. He was born November 21, 1979. Michael was originally from around Cankton, Louisiana. When he was 5 years old, his family moved overseas to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, for his father’s work. His family traveled to several places around the world before Michael moved back to the United States as a young adult. Michael valued his life growing up overseas and was always very passionate about family, music, and technology.

Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Amber Gilcrease Grissom; his son, Liam Thomas Grissom; his mother, Kathy Faul Grissom; his sister, Holly Elizabeth Grissom; his nephew, Holden Michael Doucet; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward Grissom; his grandparents, Thomas Henry Grissom, Barbara Lavergne Harris, Wade Harris, Lawrence Faul, and Judith Venable Faul.
