Meus Guillory

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Meus Joseph "Bay" Guillory, age 90, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 17, 2022, in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Port Barre. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park Mausoleum in Lafayette, La. Father Clint Trahan will celebrate the Mass.

Mr. Guillory was a residence of Port Barre and died on Tuesday, February 14, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was a hard working man.  Meus enjoyed riding his motorcycle and fishing in some of his favorite spots.

Survivors include his son, Jimmy Ray Guillory of New Iberia; daughters, Carol Hebert and husband, Carson of Port Barre, Kathy Faul and husband, Phil of Rayne, Janice Villejoin and husband, Rick of Crowley.

Meus is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Guillory; granddaughter, Chasity Hope Guillory; great-grandson, Cory Earl Hebert and two great-great grandchildren Destiney and David Champange.
