After the war, Me -T and Cholly built a home, living and working in the town of Port Barre, while raising five children. They were civic minded and willingly contributed to their community.

She was a gifted seamstress, a great cook, and an avid gardener who enjoyed working and growing plants in her garden. Cholly and Me-T traveled together frequently to visit family and friends.

Preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Charles Reaux, her mother and father, brothers, Samuel Talley, Jack Talley, and William “Bill” Talley, her sisters-in-law, her daughter Pauline Reaux Fulop, her son, Charles “Chuck” Reaux, and many other family members and friends.
