Marie Nola Hebert, a cherished member of her community and a devoted family matriarch, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2026, at the J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home. Born on June 23, 1934, in Pecaniere, Louisiana, Marie lived a life marked by love, kindness, and dedication to those around her.

Throughout her career, Marie served as a manager in a cafeteria, demonstrating leadership and commitment in a role that supported and nourished many. Beyond her professional life, she was deeply passionate about cooking and took great joy in hosting family and friends. Those who knew her fondly remember her love for preparing meals and the warmth she extended through her hospitality. A personal favorite indulgence was her beloved 7&7 drink, a small delight she cherished.

Marie was truly a very loving and caring person who gave her heart fully to her family. Her proudest accomplishments were her children, grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, each of whom carried a piece of her spirit and warmth. Her family was the center of her world, and she delighted in watching it grow and flourish.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Christie Hebert of Pecaniere; her brother, Eugene Lanclos, along with his wife Gloria, also of Pecaniere;  grandchildren Jamie Badeaux, Naomi Angelle (and her husband Kyle), and Alyssa Dugas (and her husband Andrew); great-grandchildren Courtney, Jadie, Hudson, Quinn, Andi Paige, and Ashton; and great-great-grandchildren Brooks and Noah and a host of nieces and nephews; Their presence reflects the enduring legacy of her love and dedication.

Marie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Chester Hebert; her parents, Anaclet and Laurence Lanclos; her sons, Dale “Weasel” Hebert and Shane Hebert; her daughter, Brenda Hebert; and her brother, Harry Lee Lanclos. These relationships, though no longer present, remained forever treasured in her heart.

Marie Nola Hebert’s life was a testament to the power of love and family bonds. Her legacy of care, strength, and joy will be remembered by all whose lives she touched. She now rests with those she dearly missed, leaving behind a family deeply proud of her memory and the remarkable woman she was.
