Luke Ducote

Port Barre- A Funeral Service will be held for, Luke Joseph Ducote, on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Port Barre. Brother Chad Bolfa will conduct the service. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery in Palmetto, LA.

Luke, age 19, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018. Luke enjoyed spending time outdoors especially time spent hunting. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his parents, Roger Ducote of Bayou Rouge and Melania and Owen Callier of Port Barre; grandparents, Mary and Pete Circello of Melville, Ellen and Cilton Ducote of Melville, and Lillie Grimmet of Port Barre; brothers, Coby (Ashley) Ducote of Palmetto, David (Kristin) Ducote of Palmetto, and Matthew Conway of Krotz Springs; step-brothers, Robbie Callier and Blake Callier of Rosedale, LA, and Ryan Callier of Mississippi; nephews, Connor Ducote of Palmetto, Gus Conway and John Conway of Krotz Springs; nieces, Kelsie Ducote, Emma Ducote, Kinzlie Ducote, and Anna-Grace Ducote, all of Palmetto, Zynlie Callier of Port Barre, and Elowyn Callier of Mississippi; and one god child, Karlee Ducote of Palmetto.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Percy LeJeune; aunt, Melissa Payton; uncles, Scott and Tommy Ducote; niece, Peyton Ducote; and step brother, Scott Callier.

The family requests visitation be held on Monday, July 2, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home in Port Barre. The funeral home will reopen on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.

Pallbearers will be, Coby Ducote, David Ducote, Ryan Pointer, Hunter LeJeune, Jason Payton, and Hayden Ducote. Honorary pallbearers will be Brody and Joshua Pointer.
