Opelousas- Lenora Faya Speight passed away on September 19, 2026, at Senior Village Nursing Home in Opelousas, La.

Lenora enjoyed playing bingo and having family gatherings. She loved her family and friends with all her heart.

She is survived by her husband, John Speight, daughter, Stacey Ozane Comeaux, sisters, Carolyn Darboone, and Lisa Darbonne, three grandchildren, Brooke Angeron, Dylan Angeron, and Isabella Comeaux, five great grandchildren, Ella Angeron, Kohen Wiltz, Alice Ortego, Allie Angeron and Noah Walls.

She is preceded in death by his parents Vernice and Eugene Darbonne, brothers, Lee Darbonne and Eugne Darbonne, Jr., sister, Mary Sittig, brother-in-law, James Sittig.
