Leatrice Sanders

LEONVILLE- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for, Leatrice Badeaux Sanders, at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 20, 2017, at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Leonville. Visitation will be held in the church from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be prayed at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Ken Domingue will conduct the Service. Interment will follow in the church mausoleum.

Mrs. Sanders, age 93, a resident of Leonville, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at St. Landry Extended Health Care. She was the founder and member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Sanders; parents, Joseph and Louise Badeaux; five brothers, Nolen Badeaux, Antoine "Tony" Badeaux, Lee R. Badeaux, Joachim Badeaux and John W. Badeaux; two sisters, Irene Badeaux Richard and Lizzie Mae Badeaux Marks.
