Lawrence Blanchard Leger, Jr.

Port Barre – A Christian Mass will be held for Lawrence Blanchard Leger, Jr. on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Fr. Clint Trahan will be the celebrate. Visitation will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 1:00 p.m. until time of mass.

Lawrence, age 57, a resident of Port Barre, entered into eternal rest on July 8, 2023.

Lawrence is survived by his wife, Pearl Guillory Leger, of Port Barre, daughters, Rodena Faye Leger of Avindale, LA, and Hester Janell of Opelousas, brothers, Danel Craig Leger of Port Barre, Terry Wade Leger of Port Barre, sister, Gloria Deville of Port Barre, grandchildren, Joseph Nash Leger, Michael Javon Albert, Jr., Cheyenne Faith Leger, Landyn Lane Leger, and one great grandchild, Lane Gavin Thomas.

Lawrence is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence B. Sr., and Melba Leger,  daughter, Courtney Jade Leger, and one grandchild, Lane Gavin Leger.
