Larry Dean Venable

LAFAYETTE- A Funeral Service will be held for Larry Dean Venable on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Lafayette. Pastor Mateo Ramirez will conduct the service. Visitation will be held in the church on Sunday from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service.

Larry Dean Venable, age 65, entered into eternal rest peacefully at his residence on December 8, 2025.

Larry is survived by his daughter, Keisha Venable and son-in-law, Larry “Buck” Girard of Lafayette; brothers, Ricky Venable and Chris Venable both of Opelousas; 4 grandchildren, Marshale Williams, Trinity Johnson, Lai’Lonnie Johnson and La’Reigh Venable; great-granddaughter, Ma’Lonnie Johnson.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Dalbert Venable, Sr. and Elsie Venable; and his brother, Dalbert “Brother” Venable.
