Opelousas-Funeral Services will be held for Kenneth Paul Moreau, Sr. on Saturday, at 12:00 pm on September 26, 2026, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel. Fr. Clint Trahan will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Our Lady of Sacred Heart Cemetery in Church Point, La.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas from 10:00 am until time of service with a rosary to be prayed at 11:45 am.

Kenneth was a member of the Knights of Columbus (4th degree) and Scoutmaster. He received special awards in Eucharistic and Ordained Minister. Self-employed public accountant for over 30 years.

Kenneth enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, listening to music, and watching LSU football and baseball. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by wife of 35 years, Iris Ann Wright Moreau, son, Kenneth Paul Moreau, Jr. and his wife Tara, brothers, John Cox Moreau, Jr. and wife Kay, Paul Damien Moreau and his wife Anna, sisters, Cathy Ann Moreau Byers and her husband Richard, Judy Marie Moreau Perkins and her husband James, Jr., grandchildren Mia Kate-Marie Moreau, grandsons, Myles Lane Moreau, and Ty Crews Moreau.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John Cox Moreau, Sr. and Ethel Marie Duet Moreau.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Paul Moreau, Jr., Jayme Newhouse, Sam French, Sean Lazarone, Cole Lazarone, and Timothy Brocato.Honorary pallbearer will be James Trent Vincent.
