Karlen Wyble, Jr.

LEONVILLE - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for, Karlen James Wyble, Jr., at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2018 in the St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Leonville. Reverend Ken Domingue will officiate the Mass.

Karlen, age 40, a resident of Arnaudville, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at his residence. Karlen loved spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. He cherished the time spent with his niece, Sarah and nephew, Oren. Karlen will be remembered as the man who loved everyone and greeted every person with a great big smile. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his parents, Sandra and Karlen Wyble, Sr.; brother, Mitchell Wyble and wife, Amy Robin Wyble and their children, Sarah Guillory and Oren Wyble; aunts, Evelyn Lavergne, Deanna Ziegler, Thelma "Tee" Stelly, and Marie Guillory; uncles, Johnny Wyble, David Stelly, and Joseph "Bobbie" Stelly.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mervin and Thelma Stelly; paternal grandparents, Celeman and Adrian Wyble; uncles, Eugene "Tommy" Stelly, Eugene Wyble, Adrian "Brother" Wyble, and Oren Wyble; aunt/godmother, Connie Stelly; and aunts, Vivian Moreau and Jacklen Wilmath.

The family requests visitation be held from 9:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. on, Thursday, February 1, 2018, in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas. A Rosary will be prayed by the Ladies Altar Society at 12:00 noon.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Stelly, Todd Stelly, Allyson Stelly, Eric Jones, David Ziegler and Bobby Ziegler. Honorary pallbearers will be Oren Wyble and Mike Stelly.
