Opelousas- A Funeral Service will be held for, Joseph "Frog" Noel, Jr. , on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at (time pending) in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Opelousas. Burial will follow in the St. Bridget Cemetery in Lawtell.

Frog, age 35, a resident of Opelousas, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at Opelousas General Health System surrounded by his loving family.

Frog enjoyed doing iron work both as a hobby and career. He loved being outdoors and cherished the time spent with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Catherine Stelly and husband, Francis; brothers, Jason Noel, Sr. and girlfriend, Brittany Zerangue, and Scott A. Stelly and wife, Victoria; sister, Jessica L. Baudoin and wife, Anna; his girlfriend, Judy Prudhomme; godmother, Martha Noel; nephews, Jason Noel, Jr., Carson Noel, Scott Stelly II, and Caiden Noel; nieces, Jolie Noel and Halie Turner; aunts and uncles, Johnny Bergeron and wife, Betty, Ricky Bergeron and wife, Paulette, Diane Johnson, Donald Bergeron, Sr. , Eugene Noel, Lawrence Paul Noel, Peggy Fontenot and husband, Mike, and Evelyn Hildalgo and husband, Jean.

He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Martin Noel, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Lawrence Paul Noel and Ruth Noel; maternal grandparents, Wilbert Joseph Bergeron and Versie May Stoute Bergeron; godfather, Joseph Randy Bergeron; and his bestfriend, Donald "Donnie" Wayne Prudhomme.

The family requests visitation be held on Friday, August 10, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home in Opelousas. The funeral home will reopen on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.

Pallbearers will be Jason Noel, Sr., Scott A. Stelly, Francis R. Stelly and Jessica L. Baudoin.
