Port Barre- A Mass of Christian Burial for, Joseph Lee Kelly, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Port Barre. Rev. Daniel Picard will officiate the Mass. Rite of Committal will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Port Barre.

Lee, age 84, passed away on Monday, June 18, 2018 with his loving family by his side. Lee enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his much loved wife, family and especially his grandchildren. He was a heavy Equipment Operator with the local 406 in Baton Rouge.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Mrs. Virgie Robin Kelly, his children, Henry Kelly and his wife, Karen, Ramona Kelly Marks and her husband Tim and Alisa Kelly Taylor, (Scott) all of Port Barre and former son-in-law Edgar Taylor, grandchildren, Justin Taylor and his wife Chelsy, Christopher Marks and his wife, Hannah, Heather Kelly Lalonde and her husband Andrew, Leslie Kelly Robin and her husband Derek, Kimberly Marks Devillier and her husband Rob, Kyle Taylor, Joseph Lee Kelly, Trent Taylor, and Corey Marks, greatgrandchildren, Dylan Robin, Logan Robin, Luke Lalonde, Liam Taylor, Lila Taylor, Allison Devillier, Hudson Devillier and one on the way.

He was preceded in death by parents, Henry Kelly and Bernadette L. Johnson, brother, Joseph "J.D" Kelly and step father, Wrester Johnson.

Pallbearers will be Justin Taylor, Kyle Taylor, Trent Taylor, Christopher Marks, Corey Marks, Joseph Lee Kelly.

The family requests visitation be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Port Barre. A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. The funeral home will reopen on Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
