Joseph "Joe" Wyble

Opelousas- A Funeral Service for Mr. Joseph "Joe" Wyble, age 86, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2022, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Opelousas. Visitation will be on Friday, February 18, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. til 9:00 p.m. Rosary Service will be at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas, La. Deacon Jerome Collins will officiate the service.

Mr. Wyble was a resident of Opelousas and died on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was a veteran of the US Army. He was associated with the St Landry Parish Veterans Memorial Committee. He was also associated with CB Radio and Joe’s Tower Service; he was also a HAM operator. His hobbies included hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Veronica Theriot Wyble, three sons, Pat Wyble, wife (Wilda) of Richard, Stevie Wyble, wife (Linda) of Duson, Ronnie Wyble, wife (Sheila) of Opelousas, one daughter, Debbie Moorman, Husband (Jeff) of Hernando, Mississippi, Step son John Theriot wife (Lissie) from Alexandria, Step daughter Maggie Belaire husband (Danny) from Deville, two sisters, Frances Bordelon of Washington, Marguerite Fontenot of Opelousas. Eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Joseph is preceded in death by his first wife, Elsie Richard Wyble, mother of his children, his parents, PJ Wyble & Anna Jacobs, one brother, Warren Wyble, one step sister, Lee Alice Hebert.

Pallbearers will be Stevie Wyble, James Wyble, Jordan Wyble, Larry Zerangue Jr., Ricky Stelly and David Fontenot.
