Jonathan Guidroz

Port Barre- A Mass of Christian Burial for, Jonathan Roy Guidroz will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 1, 2017, in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Port Barre. Reverend Picard will conduct the Mass. Rite of Committal will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Jonathan, age 36, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his father, James Guidroz of Port Barre; his children, Cameron Paul Guidroz and Addysin Guidroz of Denham Springs; his brothers, Jerry Guidroz and wife, Annie of Jacksonville, North Carolina, and Matthew Guidroz of Port Barre; and his maternal grandmother, Shirley Bergeron of Sunset.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gwendolyn Bergeron Guidroz; his maternal grandfather, Paul Bergeron; and paternal grandparents, Hubert and Ula Mae Guidroz.

The family requests visitation be held on Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at the Sibille Funeral Home in Port Barre. A rosary will be prayed by Reverend Picard at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday evening in the Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Friday until 10:30 a.m.
