Johnny Stoute

Port Barre- A Funeral Service will be held for, Johnny Stoute, at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 14, 2018, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Benji Richard will conduct the service. Rite of Committal will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Mr. Johnny age 64, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at Opelousas General Health System. Johnny served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by daughters, Jonni Denee Johnson and her companion, Robert Hardy III of Port Barre, and Jessica Erin Metrejean of Leonville; brother, Collins Stoute, Jr. of Port Barre; sisters, Gloria Borskey of Brusley, LA, Faye Fontenot of Opelousas, and Sandra Fontenot of Port Barre; grandchildren, Gabrielle Stoute, Morgan Johnson, Cori Stoute, Da'sha Metrejean, and one great-grandson, Isaac Stoute.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Collins and Amy Stoute; and his sister, Esther Lee Curtis.

The family requests visitation be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home in Port Barre. Visitation will resume on Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
