Jean Stickler

OPELOUSAS-A Celebration of Life for, Mrs. Jean Marie Stickler, will be held at a later.

Mrs. Stickler, age 91, a native of Texas and resident of Sunset, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Stickler will be remembered as a lady who lived a fun filled life and always enjoyed experiencing new places. Following her retirement at 60, she went onto to achieve her pilots license and got the chance to travel across the country. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda B. Devalcourt; son, James D. Brady and wife "Boots"; 5 grandchildren, Brian James "B.J." Devalcourt and wife, Jamie, Penny Singletary, Steve Brady, Darren Brady and Dwayne Brady; step-grandchildren, Spence and Randall Devalcourt; great-grandchildren, Luke and Sadie Devalcourt; step-great-grandchildren, Spencer and Tucker Menard; niece, Debbie Knight; and great nephews, Adam and Glen Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Stickler; parents, Luciean and Golda Malcolm Wilson; and brother, Devereaux L. Wilson.
