It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Janice Brown. She was affectionately known in her family as “Teenie”. She was married to her husband for 54 years and would have celebrated 55 years on November 8th.
Janice had a heart of gold, and she would do anything for anyone. She had a distinctive laugh that made you want to laugh right along with her. She had a unique sense of humor and would often make a joke at the wrong time, but that was her and you couldn’t help but love this about her. She would give you anything she had, all you had to do was ask, people would rarely get a “no” from her.
Janice could grow anything in her garden and she loved having one. She enjoyed being outdoors and playing with her dogs. She loved antiques and has passed this trait down to her daughter. She also had a passion for painting ceramics. Janice was known for being an exceptional cook and loved cooking for her family. She was everyone’s “Nanny Janice” and was honored to have that title. She always loved getting all dressed up and going dancing with her husband.
Janice had various jobs and within no time she would be promoted to the manager position. She loved communicating with people and sharing stories; she could talk on the phone for hours.
Janice also had a strong faith, if you had questions about the Catholic faith then she was your go to. She had such a great way of teaching others about Jesus and his love for us. She loved teaching about forgiveness and how important this was in life.
Janice loved fiercely, and her family was her world, she would do anything for them. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, along with her children. She couldn’t help but talk about her family and she would beam with true love and happiness while doing so.
