James Pitre

Opelousas - A Funeral Service for James Norris Pitre will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas. Deacon Dwayne Joubert will conduct the service. Interment will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Prairie Ronde.
James passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at his residence in Opelousas.
He is survived by his son, James Chadwick Pitre of Opelousas, brother, Ray Pitre and Geneva of Opelousas, grandchildren, Jarred and Dylan Pitre, Andrew Lavergne, Wesley Pitre, and Victoria Naquin, sister-in-law, Regina Pitre of Arnaudville.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Nolan and Loicy Mae Pitre, son, Timothy Craig Pitre, brother, Wayne Pitre, sister, Linda Sue Pitre.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. A Rosary will be prayed at 1:45 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
