James Jimmy Hicks

Grand Coteau- Funeral service will be held for James “Jimmy” Grover Hicks on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Grand Coteau. Visitation will be held in the Sibille Funeral Home in Grand Coteau from 8:00 a.m. until time of service. Rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home in Grand Coteau.

James, age 69 a resident of Grand Coteau, entered into eternal rest on July 7, 2023, at his home with his loving family by his side.

James is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Bambi Halphen Hicks of Grand Coteau, sons, Charles Lee Hicks, and wife, Jenna of Snook, Texas, and James Michael Hicks and wife, Katherine of Grand Coteau, brother, Charles Hicks of Waxia, sister, Rosie Isak of Arnaudville, and Goldie Segrest and husband, Mike of Tallassee, Alabama, two grandchildren, Henry Hicks and Victoria Mayhem Hicks.

James is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Sarah Fisher Hicks, sister, Bessie Hicks.
