Herbert Martin

Port Barre- A Funeral Service will be held for, Herbert Martin, on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home of Port Barre. Pastor Benji Richard will conduct the service. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Port Barre.
Herbert, age 76, a resident of Port Barre, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home.
Herbert served in the Air force, then went on to be a Pipeline Welder for 40 years. He enjoyed hunting in his spare time. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Port Barre.
He is survived by his son, Ty Caleb Martin of Lufkin, TX., brother, Joseph Harry Martin, Jr. of Sunset, sister, Patsy Martin of Arnaudville, grandchildren, Gabriel Lee Martin and Caleb Bryce Martin.
He is preceded in death by parents, Harry Martin, Sr. and Mildred Lalonde Martin, brother, Tommy Martin.
The family requests visitation be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home in Port Barre. The funeral home will reopen on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
