Harry Lanclos, Sr.

Opelousas -A Mass for, Harry John Lanclos, Sr., will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2018, in the St. Landry Catholic Church. Fr. Jim Brady will conduct the Mass. Interment will follow in the St. Landry Cemetery Mausoleum.

Harry, a resident of Port Barre, died on Monday, January 22, 2018, at his home, surrounded by his family, at the age of 84.

Harry is survived by children, Harry Lanclos, Jr. of Arnaudville, James Neil Lanclos, Sr. (Charity) of Port Barre, Keith Brian Lanclos, of Port Barre, Jason Michael Lanclos, Sr. (Casey) of Port Barre, Linda Leger (Hank) of Opelousas, and Agnes Royse, (Mitchell) of Hammond, brothers, Elton Lanclos of Lawtell, Adolphe A.J. Lanclos, Jr. of Sunset, Murphy Lanclos of Opelousas, sisters, Rita Henson of Kentucky, Freida Cason of Kentucky, and Beverly Bernard of Opelousas, fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and three on the way.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Leona Bourque Lanclos, his parents, Adolphe Sr., and Constance Colligan Lanclos, son Michael Dale Lanclos, brothers, Herbert and Horace Lanclos.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2018, from 3:00 p.m. until time of service on Thursday in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas.

A rosary service will be at 6:00 pm followed by a evening service with Rev. Joe Russo in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel at 6:30 pm.
