Fammie Henagan

Ponchatoula & Bayou Current- A Visitation will be held for Fammie Henagan on Monday, June 3, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m., with a Memorial Service at 6:00 p.m. in the Twin Steeples Creative Arts Center located at 220 East Oak St., Ponchatoula, LA 70454. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at the Atchafalaya Presbyterian Church in Bayou Current at 11:00 a.m., visitation will be held in the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. 

Fammie Henagan went to be with the Lord on May 26, 2024. She lived in Ponchatoula, Louisiana and in Bayou Current, Louisiana, where she had numerous lifelong friends. 

Fammie was the owner of the Craft Box in Ponchatoula for many years. She loved teaching art classes to children, which brought her enjoyment. She also enjoyed painting, quilting, sewing, Pokeno with friends, volunteering with Hospice, nursing, reading and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her Husband of 56 years, Billy Henagan; her Father, Robert Talley; her Mother, Freda Talley; her Sisters, Virginia (Tee) Warden, Pauline Talley; and her Brothers, Bobby Talley and Lionel Talley.

She leaves behind her Brother, Gill Talley (May Alice); her Sister, Madge Henagan; Children: Nadine Majesty (Larry), Ricky Henagan (Debbie), Randy Henagan (Denise), Paul Henagan (Robbie); Grand Children: Toshia Perrin (Mark), Michelle VonBlan (Ashton), Brittany Mickan (Mark), Samantha McEachern (Bubba); Great Grand Children: Jacob Stevens, Taylor Perrin, Peyton VonBlan, Jensen Mickan, Madeline Mickan, Brody McEachern and Levi McEachern.
