Opelousas-Elizabeth Jean Ellis age 82, passed away on October 23, 2026, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette.

She is survived by her son, Curtis Rohman and his wife April of Port Barre, daughter, Theresa Ellis of Krotz Springs, three grandchildren, Nina Pearson of Krotz Springs, Tempe Comeaux of Port Barre and Trista Rohman of Port Barre. Along with a host of her great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Joel Ellis, Sr., parents, L Z and Normal Price, sister, Trudy Runnels, brother, Billie Jo Price.

Jean world revolved around her family, her faith in God, and in her coffee “that’s good coffee”. She loved playing Bingo and Socializing.
