Earl Anderson

 Earl William Anderson of Many, Louisiana born January 24, 1944, took his place in heaven August 3, 2024 closing his earthly chapter of 80 years with his friends and family. At the request of Earl, there will be no funeral or observation. In lieu of condolences, Earl has requested that we perform an act of love and kindness in his honor. Earl was born and raised in Opelousas, Louisiana to the parents of Benjamin Augustus "Gus" Anderson and Altha Ethel Littell Anderson. He is the loved “Pop” of William “Chris” Anderson and Charles Anderson. The god father to Angela Daigle, Earl Daigle, Mary “Libby” Clostio, and Marissa Anderson. He is survived by his sister Margaret "Sister" Daigle. Earl served his country in the United States Army reaching the rank of Sergeant. He enjoyed socializing and celebrating every moment he could. From being active in several religious organizations to actively participating in senior center activities at Sabine Senior Center. He loved to go out and dance with all the ladies as often as he could and was always ready to make a joyful noise in praise of God. Earl’s many accomplishments are led by his love for his family. Earl rarely missed an opportunity to share good news of his family with anyone. He loved seeing any new additions to the family. He was always ready to help in whichever way he could. Our hearts are saddened from the loss of his presence while our lives are forever enriched by having been able to know and love him. He is preceded in death by his father, mother and siblings: Rita Joyce Young, Dorothy Louise Miller, Barbara Ann Jones, Theo Hart Littell Anderson Sr., Benjamin Augustus Anderson, Jr., and Edward Eugene Anderson (KIA).
